Campfires
Garage rock = yes, but what a sense of richness and timeless quality to these guys music! The songs are short, sweet-bitter postcards from bored boys summer camp, somewhere in middle America where you spend most nights loitering in your cabin smoking weed with the peeling Jim Morrison poster and faded The Who banner and your buddies who can all vaguely play some instrument or the other. My prediction: expect Campfires to spread like a negligently started forest wildfire in the dry-leaf bountiful world that is lo-fi garage. Go through their myspace, it’ll take 5 minutes and I promise will be a lot of fun.
